Prep Redzone/Next Showcase Branding

Prep Redzone/Next Showcase Branding

Est. Set Up: 60 Minutes Per Venue

Front of House Branding Setup Overview

The Front of House area is the first touchpoint for attendees entering the venue. Proper setup ensures a smooth check-in process, clear traffic flow, and a professional event presentation.

This guide outlines the branding and signage expectations for the Front of House setup, including exterior signage, entrance signage, and check-in tables layout.

Outside the Venue (Front of House Entry)

A-Frame Sign Placement

Place one A-Frame sign outside the main entrance as part of the Front of House setup.

  • The “Check-In” side with the event logo should face outward and be clearly visible as spectators approach the venue.

  • The “Tell Us About Your Experience” side with the QR code should face the opposite direction so it is visible as spectators exit the venue.

Placement Considerations

  • If there is a long sidewalk or walkway leading from the parking lot to the entrance, place the A-Frame closer to the parking lot so spectators see the check-in direction earlier, but close enough to the building that they know which way to continue walking.
  • If the entrance is close to the parking area, place the A-Frame near the main entrance doors.
  • In bad weather (rain, strong wind, etc.), place the A-Frame closer to the building for protection.
  • If weather conditions could damage the sign or cause it to tip over, it is acceptable to not place the A-Frame outside.

The goal is to ensure the sign is visible to arriving spectators while protecting event signage from unnecessary damage.

Exit Doors (Front of House Exit Points)

No Re-Entry Sign | Tell Us About Your Event Experience

Each Front of House exit door should have one laminated “Tell Us About Your Event Experience” sign.

  • Placement: Eye level on each exit door

  • Ensure the signs are clearly visible as spectators exit.

This allows us to gather customer feedback.

Inside the Venue (Front of House Area)

The athlete check-in area should be set up as a fully linear flow — athletes enter, move through each station in order, and exit toward the field without backtracking. All tables should have table wraps installed.

Showcases run in two configurations depending on event size: the Full Setup (with a measurement zone) and the Simplified Setup (without measurements). Both follow the same entrance-to-field flow.

Station 1 — Greeter

The Greeter is the first point of contact when an athlete enters the venue.

Staff: 1

Table setup:

  1. No table required
  2. Staff member positioned at or just inside the entrance door

The Greeter's role is to welcome the athlete, confirm they are in the right place, and direct them toward the check-in table.

Station 2 — Check-In & Jersey Table

The check-in and jersey handoff run as one combined station with two tables side by side.

Staff: 2 (1 per table)

Table setup — Check-In table:

  1. Table wrap installed
  2. Tabletop sign that reads:
  3. "Athlete Check-In"
  4. “Walk-Ups Register Here”
  5. “Registration & Paperwork”

Staff handles registration confirmation and any required paperwork.

Table setup — Jersey Table:

  1. Table wrap installed
  2. Jerseys organized and ready to hand off
  3. Staff hands athlete their jersey for the event

Athletes leave this station with their jersey in hand and move directly to the Photo Prep area.

Station 3 — Photo Prep Area

The Photo Prep area is separated from the main check-in flow and positioned along the side wall. Athletes are directed here immediately after receiving their jersey.

Change Into Jersey

  2. Athletes should not proceed to the field or measurements until jersey is on

Measurement Zone — Full Setup Only

The Measurement Zone is used at larger showcases where athlete measurements are captured. It is not included in the Simplified Setup. Athletes move through the three stations left to right.
